Hi, thanks for such an informative post. I would keep your advices in mind when I choose a domain at DomainKa.com next time.
Great advice. Definitely interested in acquiring some top domain names soon and I’ll definitely come back to this article when I do so. I could use your points to buy aged domain names at DomainKa.com like a pro!
Awesome post Trung, one random question though, what if I would like to sell a domain name instead, do you know the best possible way to approach this? As in where can I sell it and where can I get the most profit out of selling it?

You can sell your domain on Godaddy Auctions, it’ll help, check https://auctions.godaddy.com/trpHome.aspx
I purchased domain from Godaddy on 26th September. The process was bit easy. This site is really helpful for me and made my life easy. I am very new to blogging. I dont know how to purchase domain. I got help from this site. Thanks a lot. One question is that for some reason my website is very slow loading. Do you know why ? As i said its a new site I did not put any thing in this site till now
I am not a big fan of godaddy as they supported SOPA and CISPA here in the US, draconian online spying provisions. I’ve found that the best liberty minded domain registrar is Bitronic Technologies http://www.bitronictech.net/buy_web_domain.php
Libertas, Veritas.

Hi there Trung!
I found your comment on an article at famousbloggers and I follow your link which lead me here.
Anyway, I like that you are using Godaddy and Namecheap as sample registrars. I have been using both registrars but for those who has not used any of the two, I will definitely suggest them to use Namecheap as I will be switching to it.
Namecheap really is much affordable compared to Godaddy. If you happen to observe the price, at first only has small difference but the real score is when you renew your domain. When you renew your domain at namecheap it’s still on the $10 dollar price but if you renew on godaddy you will be surprised how on earth it goes $15 dollars from the initial $12. I am just referring to the typical .com domains.
Anyway, I have posted some tips on buying domain names on my blog. Please check it here markleobongcasan.com/tips-on-buying-a-good-domain-name/

I think they haven’t, they only accept credit card, PayPal, check, and Gift card.
Wow really nice tips. Newbies will gain some knowledge on this. I remember when I wanted to get a domain name I had to ask someone who had a domain name. He used to act so rude. But thanks.

To book your domain name first time could be a difficult & confusing one especially with Godaddy as they ask too many questions and shows many offers to make more money from you.

Thank you very much for step by step guide to register a domain name from Godaddy and NameCheap. I have registered my domain name from Efuzone.com because the payment method which Godaddy accepts is not for me. I don’t have credit card, don’t have paypal account and another reason of registering a domain name from Efuzone.com is because the owner of the company is my friend.
Thanks anyway:)
